Hello again ^^
Here’s another quick review. Yes I’m aware that I’ve posted a whole bunch at the speed of light, but the other posts I’m working on were just beginning to…irritate me so I figured a distraction was in order.
Alrighty, the Clinique Chubby Sticks. For those who don’t know, the chubby sticks are basically a moisturizing lip colour balm that has the same pigmentation as a lipstick, but with the benefits of a lipbalm, without the stickiness (and honestly, who in their right mind likes sticky lip balms?…especially if you’re walking outside on a windy day….yeah you know the joys of that feeling).
The two colours I have as no.6 in Woppin’ Watermelon and no.5 in Chunky Cherry. Woppin Watermelon is more on the pinky side, and gives your lips a nice flush of pink without looking like you’re going overboard. Great for everday use, and can be worn on it’s own or with whatever favourite pink-toned lipstick that you’re in love with. Ideal for those with fair/slightly fair skintones.
Chunky Cherry, is much more pigmented, as it’s quite a bright red colour (not red lipstick red, but a more diluted version of a red lipstick). The benefits are still the same though. Very moisturizing, and for those who are qutie daring with your red lipsticks, feel free to wear this with it next time ^^.
They’re also pretty long lasting, as it’s a turn up or down type lipbalm, so you can control how much you want to use.
As for scent, it’s almost non-existent, which is typical of Clinique as they are renowned for making products that are hypoallergenic and frangrance free, which is great for those who are sensitive to strong scents (or if you’re like me) hate scents that are so strong, it’d be enough to knock anybody out.
Hope you all enjoyed this super quick post, if you have another suggestions on future product reviews, feel free to leave them in the comments below or tweet tweet them away to me on twitter (that probably made no sense at all O.o).
