Hello one and all, hope you are all doing super fabulous in your own awesome way. Today’s post is devoted to all things that are my favourite. Some items I have been a long time favourite, and some are just recent, so it’ll be a mixed bag of goodies; one of which will be non-beauty related, so here goes.
My first favourite is this Lancome Hydra Zen Neo Calm Moisturising Cream. I started using this during the middle of Winter to help stop my skin from getting too dry, and I must say it did one hell of a good job. The cream itself has almost no fragrance, similar to Clinique and their moisturisers, which means this can be used with any skin types, including sensitive. Despite this being a high-end product, a little really does go a long way, so this will last you a long time.
Second is the Sunsilk co-creations Longer and Stronger Conditioner. This has been a long time favourite of mine which I have been using on and off for a few years now, especially since I want to grow my hair nice and long, and this conditioner has been a great help for that. So if you’re planning to grow your hair out, I would recommend trying this product out. Plus this conditioner smells like expensive candy….and who doesn’t want to have hair that smells like expensive candy?
My next long time favourite is the Rexona (women’s….rancid chicken smelling deodorant is not my thing) long lasting protection deodorant for sensitive skin. I really like this deodorant because it helps keep my sweaty pits at bay thanks to my regular visits to the gym, and as it’s designed for sensitive skin, it keeps my pits nice and happy. That last bit was probably too much information but I’m just being honest here. In a nutshell, it’s a great deodorant that does what it says and also has a nice fresh scent without being overpowering.
The next favourite item are the Ingrown Eliminating Pads from Bliss, which basically contains 50 thin pads each designed to be rubbed over areas where there is incoming stubble….even guys can use this on their beards apparently O.o. This product is best used in between shaving/waxing sessions. Overall, this product does work pretty well, and helped keep those pesky ingrown hairs at bay, however as it contains Salicylic and Glycolic acids, it may sting a little for some; those with sensitive skin should best avoid this as it may irritate.
Second last on my favourites list, is actually a surprise favourite which is the Ocean Salt Facial Scrub from Lush. Despite it being designed to be used on the face, I’ve actually been using it on my legs instead in between waxing sessions, and I’ve been really impressed by it as it not only keeps my skin feeling nice and smooth, but it also helps keep my ingrowns at bay. Even though vodka is one of the ingredients, it won’t make you intoxicated in any way (sorry kids :p). but it smells really nice and fresh thanks to the grapefruit and lime ingredients while the coconut provides moisture for the skin. I will definitely be repurchasing again once this jar is finished.
And that’s my favourites for the month of September. I hope you all enjoyed reading this post (yes I know it’s a late one and October is getting underway) and found it informative in some way. In the meantime, I will see you all in my next post.
