Greetings everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely week wherever you are. As suggested by the title, today’s post will be about the new Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation (AUD $25.95).
Firstly, I’ll start with the foundation itself. In terms of consistency, it’s has that nice balance between being not too thick and not too runny, which is great for those who like to use their foundation sparingly, or prefer to build up their coverage bit by bit, which is a big plus with this foundation. As for finish, if you are after the ”barely there” look, then this may be the foundation for you, as it will give your skin a nice not too matte but not too dewy appearance.
If you have normal/combination/dry skin, this will be a great foundation for you, however those with very oily skin should probably avoid this as it does oxidize a little over time which may cause the foundation to separate and go all over the place. if you have oily skin however, just make sure you powder/blot when needed and everything should stay as is.
The downside with this foundation however is that it is a screw turn lid design, and not a pump (I’m assuming Revlon probably do this to keep the price point low??) which means you will have to keep an eye on how much you use, otherwise it may end up leading to unexpected wastage. Other than that, if you’re looking for a decent affordable foundation that has build-able coverage. This foundation is available in 16 shades ranging from fair to quite dark which I found pretty surprising as I never see cheaper end foundation companies make colours suited for those with darker skin.
I hope you all enjoyed this review and found it helpful in some way. Over all I found this foundation to be pretty good, and being a fan of the ”barely there” look myself, this was a great choice for me. In the meantime, I will see you all in my next post ^^. Have a great week everyone.
