Review: Bobbi Brown BB Cream SPF 35

Hello Everyone ^^

Yup again I am on a posting spree….practice makes perfect right?? ^^

As the title says, this is a review about the Bobbi Brown BB Cream. The shade I have is in ”Light”.

First and foremost I’ll start with texture. As a true BB Cream, the texture is of a nice creamy feel and thankfully, NOT runny. It feels pretty weightless when I applied it on my face and the coverage is buildable, which may be ideal for those who like extra coverage for any skin issues. As I have a pink undertone to my skin, it does blend in quite well, though I would probably recommend this for those with yellow undertones to their skin as I find that is what Bobbi Brown foundations are best designed for.

The texture is quite similar to Asian BB Creams, which probably explains why it was released a year or so earlier in Asia than the USA and Australia. This can also be used as a primer as well, and as it is moisturizing, this would be ideal for those autumn/winter months. Though overall, it probably is the next best thing to Asian BB Creams, however it is not a complete replacement.

With an SPF of 35, it offers pretty decent sun protection, and will hold for about 5-8 hours depending on your skin type. I would recommend this for normal/oily and combination skins. My only issue with this product is the rather slim tube it comes in and also if you want extra coverage, naturally you’ll have to use more product which in turns results in it getting used faster, and considering this BB Cream is a little more on the pricey end, it’s not overly economical.

Overall, this is quite a decent BB Cream for those with normal/oily/combination skin. It will cover most of the small little bumps and other minor skin issues reasonably well, if you have acne prone skin, this MIGHT work for you, though I suggest you try it out first before committing.

I hope this review helped out in any way for those who are looking for a good quality BB Cream.
